The wireless microphone system shall consist of a receiver and a microphone/transmitter. The frequency range of the system shall be between 169 MHZ. and 186 MHz. The working range shall be at least 1000 ft under ideal conditions.
The receiver shall be a single frequency, single conversion, superheterodyne FM type. The receiver sensitivity shall be at least 1.6 µV for 50 dB S/N with 20 kHz bandwidth. The dynamic range shall be at least 105 dB.
The microphone shall be a dynamic supercardioid type employing a neodymium magnet structure. The frequency response shall be at least 60 Hz to 14 kHz, ±1.5 dB, or 30 Hz to 16 kHz, ±3 dB. The ultimate S/N shall be at least 105 dB
(processed, with 20 kHz bandwidth), typically 108 dB (A-weighted).
The transmitter shall have a nominal power output of at least 50 mW and a frequency stability of ±0.005%. The spurious output shall be less than -45 db, -55 dB typical.
The microphone/transmitter unit shall not exceed 10.25 inches in length. The receiver unit shall be rack mountable and shall not exceed 16.9 inches (42.9 cm) in width, 1.75 inches (4.45 cm) in height and 9 inches (23 cm) in depth. Separate mounting ears shall be provided for rack mounting when desired
The wireless microphone system shall be the Altec Lansing model 7500B-H.
